The Canal Museum - Stoke Bruerne, Towcester - a treasure trove of stories, displays, films and collections all about our waterways. The Canal Museum Housed on two floors of a historic corn mill. Just a short walk north from the museum along the towpath to the mouth of Blisworth Tunnel and the woodland walk - There is level access from the car park to the canal towpath and toilet facilities, and ramped access to the museum café and shop, at present the museum galleries, which are on the first and second floor, do not have wheelchair access

Northamptonshire Ironstone Railway Trust - Northampton - The Ironstone heritage Centre is within the Grounds of The Hunsbury Hill Country Park, it has a small museum a Cafe, workshop and several themed gardens. It also features a 1.5 mile long heritage railway line that runs through the park - Unfortunately we have no accessibility info for this site

Rushden Transport Museum - situated in the old Midland Railway Station of 1894 which once formed part of the Wellingborough to Higham Ferrers branch line, has ½ mile of track. It uses both steam and diesel locomotives operating passenger trains at events throughout the year. The Transport Museum has a variety of road artefacts, ephemera and memorabilia from the local area that help demonstrate the history of transport within the context of Rushden and its near neighbours - The museum is accessible for wheelchair users up a sloped, tarmacked but uneven pathway, and flat level access to the entrance door

East Carlton Countryside Park East Carlton, Market Harborough - A stunning country park set in 102 acres of parks and woodland near Corby featuring a cafe, shop and free parking for all visitors.
Our countryside park is safe and has managed areas with sign posted trails. There are well maintained surfaced paths and plenty of seating and there is a "Changing Places" accessible toilet
