Rutland Ospreys - The Lyndon Visitor Centre Rutland Water Nature Reserve - Rutland Water is home to the first Ospreys to breed in England for 150 years, open mid-March to early September - There is access for the disabled at the Lyndon centre – access is possible to Waderscrape Hide, Shallow Water Hide, Teal Hide and Swan Hide and the visitor centre itself, accessible toilets at the visitor centre

Rutland Water Nature Reserve - Egleton, Oakham - internationally famous nature reserve regularly holding in excess of 25,000 waterfowl. The reserve occupies shore line and shallow water lagoons along 9 miles of the western end of Rutland Water and covers a total area of 1000 acres. - Anglian Water Birdwatching Centre, Egleton has wheelchair access, accessible toilets, Induction loops in the education centre and on audio exhibits in the visitor centre and a mobility scooter is available to hire for access to the nature reserve.
