Africa Alive! - Kessingland, Lowestoft (formerly known as Suffolk Wildlife Park) - set in 100 acres of Suffolk countryside, animals including giraffe and rhinos, Discovery Centre, Lemur Encounters, indoor and outdoor adventure play areas - “considered reasonably wheelchair and pushchair friendly” (The lower end of the park is, by its nature set in marshland and whilst there are paths these are erratic in levels. Assistance is advised in this area) Viewing areas are designed with wheelchair users in mind allowing low level access and visibility wherever possible. A portable hearing loop is available. They also offer mobility scooter hire (charges). They have a toilet facility with a hoist and bench as a temporary solution until they are able to provide a full Changing Places facility.
