Chestnut Conservation Centre - Otter, Owl and Wildlife Park - Chapel-en-le-Frith - selection of mammals and birds, cafe, shop - Wheelchairs and mobility scooters can access parts of the grounds with care, enabling disabled visitors to see the free-ranging deer, five species of owls, four species of otters (including giant otters), polecats and pine marten. Regrettably access to the Scottish wildcats, red foxes and some species of owls may be limited

Derbyshire Dales NNR - five superb valleys that make up Derbyshire Dales National Nature Reserve lie in the centre of the Peak District National Park and together represent some of the best examples of limestone geology, landscape and wildlife in the area and indeed in the whole of England. - There's a track running from the lane below Over Haddon to Carter's Mill. The track is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.

Matlock Farm Park - animals to see, feed and pet, Meerkat feeds, Owl encounter, Ferret racing, Wallaby encounter, Reptile Meet and Greet, pony rides, play equipment, go-carts, riding school and trekking centre, cafe, shop - - "main paths around the farm park are smoothly tarmacked and are ideal for wheelchair and pushchair users. These paths allow access to see all of our outdoor animals. Most paths are level, some are on a slight slope. There are also lawned areas in the farm park. The Sanctuary - Bird and Wildlife Reserve at Pride Park, Derby - ten hectares of quiet refuge for many important species of birds - Two viewing structures have ramped access for wheelchair users and seating. All main features can be easily viewed from a number of points around the perimeter fencing, all accessible from the Park-and-Ride car park
